| One tends to think of "phases" as a concept that is difficult to understand. But I have come to think of it as an action similar to using nature to reap a harvest, just like scooping soil from a riverbed and making it into a levee, or like a farmer digging up soil, planting a seed, and then covering it back up. I do modify nature, but I have come to place great importance on never remaking it but instead returning it to its original form. by Nobuo Sekine |
